As I was in my kitchen this morning doing science experiments on how to make a healthy scone recipe, I realized my baking powder’s expiration date was from 2012 (its 2014, I’m clearly not a baker). Now you will notice there aren’t any new scone recipes up on the blog because after two attempts I threw in the towel for the day, but I can’t blame it on the baking powder!
I was in no position to leave the house for fresh powder (still in my PJ’s, hair a mess, you know the drill), so I began looking around the internet for ways to test freshness and I found one that was kind of fun and I thought I’d share it with you!
Cool huh? Ok well now I’ll return to my scone debacle and (hopefully) make a good one tomorrow.
