Week 1 Meal Plan
With the right meal plan, you can save big $ at the grocery store,
and still eat healthy.
$52.98 is exactly how much this meal plan, designed to feed 2 people for an entire week, cost me.
However I did already have a few simple items in my pantry, including:
- half a vidalia onion
- butter
- eggs
- spices
- olive oil
- spinach
- leftover steak from the freezer
- brown rice

Week 1 Meals
Below is this week's meal breakdown...
Breakfast
- Fried eggs & toast
- Oatmeal
Lunch
- Leftovers from last night's dinner
- Spinach Salad (mix spinach with whatever veggies and salad dressing you prefer)
Dinner
- Black bean cakes with corn salsa
- 5 Ingredient Mexican Chicken Soup
- Pork Chops with Apricot-Jalapeno Jam, Smashed Carrots & Sweet Potatoes
- Grilled steak with corn on the cob (use a sprinkle of black pepper and sea salt on the steak)
- Cajun chicken sandwiches with Roasted Carrot Fries
Snacks
- Peanut butter on toast
- Pineapple
- Strawberries
- Fudgsicles
- Dark chocolate
