Mom’s Pecan Pie

The BEST Pecan Pie recipe.  Period.

Every year on my Dad's birthday (which happens to also be Christmas Eve), my Mom makes her Pecan Pie.  It's been a tradition since before I was born, and I can't imagine a year without it.  It has a perfectly crisp outer shell and a deliciously soft middle full of pecans with a flakey crust.  I'd love to try it as mini hand pies so I can have them all year round!

The heavenly smell of toasted pecans wafting from the oven is more than I can handle, and most years I try really hard to pick off a piece when it's done, but my Mom always catches me.

It's a simple recipe with lots and lots of sugar, but really who cares -  Isn't that the point of pecan pie?!  If you're looking to impress your mother-in-law or get some guy to fall in love with you, this would be the pie to make...trust me 😉
